Analysis to Strengthen your Operation
Kestrel’s knowledge of database applications (i.e., ORACLE and Microsoft Access) and the relationships between various forestry datasets (spatial and tabular) complements our experience performing ad hoc queries for management questions about land base and forest management activities. We extract essential information from complex data relationships and provide support and expertise for using spatial analysis tools.
We also have extensive experience with MNR's SFMM from its introduction to the current version. This experience includes training, workshops, preparing data, and performing and reviewing complete wood supply analyses.
While aware of a number of tools that are currently being used for spatial analysis in forest management plans, we are continuing to develop expertise in order to use them appropriately. We are able to work co-operatively with other consultants if additional analysis is required.
